For the second installment of Monday Night Musings, I’d like to impart this simple quote:
When I first saw this quote it struck me in the sense of big life stuff- jobs, family, type of person- for example. Meaning that it is never too late to go back and learn something new, be a better person, or start your life over. Well, given the running theme found in Silas Marner, that would be the obvious interpretation. However….After more thought I’m not so sure that’s all there is to it. Perhaps this means that it is never to late to go back and fix the mistakes you made. To help the person you wronged or forgive someone who wronged you. It’s never too late to go back and be the kind of person you should have been. Just my 2 cents.

I like both of your interpretations of the quote! I think the first one is what would come to most people’s minds first, myself included. I think the best way to make a change is moving forward rather than going back. Thanks so much for sharing with #candidcuddles x
